The Expressions Gallery is designed to provide a space for members and supporters of the disability community to reveal the personal side of their experience with disability and to use the power of artistic expression to raise awareness about disability rights. The Expressions Gallery includes works by members of IDEAnet as well as by professional featured artists.

Frank J. Brown received his B.F.A. from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and his M.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Brown is one of the Midwest’s leading social statement artists working in sculpture whose work often depicts the struggles of those that have not been given the opportunity to secure their dreams of equality. His work is included in the collections of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, The University of Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Southern Illinois University, Museum Of Fine Arts and The St. Paul Foundation. His studio is located in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he founded the Lowertown Artist Association.
